Backwinded

Considering the conditions it was inevitable that there would be more than a little carnage during the course of this year's "Currumbin Classic".

Indeed, with the Alley's infamous sweep at its merciless best no one (repeat, no one) was spared the ignominy of at least one leg of the ubiquitous 'Triathlon'.

While the final tally of trashed kit mercifully (nay, miraculously) came in at only four broken masts, three shredded sails, one busted boom, a footstrap torn clean out of the board, and one complete rig (Tatsu's 5.3) - that's sail, mast, boom, extension, the lot!
